Rizhao
is a rising port city along the coast of China which
is named after a Chinese poem, meaning
"sunshine" in Chinese. located at the
center of the Chinese coast in the southern tip of
the Jiaodong peninsula. It borders the Yellow Sea on
the east and adjoins the Yimeng Mountains in the
west, with Qingdao

and Weifang in the north and
Lianyugang (a city in Jiangsu Province
)in the south, facing Korea and Japan
across the sea in the east. It has

Rizhao is the connecting point between
the coastal axis of the major construction areas of
the State and the Economic Belt of the Continental
Bridge along the Railway of Rizhao-Xi'an.
Rizhao is one of the 15 coastal cities
designated by the State Council for major
construction. With two ports connecting with the
world and one railway linking Asia with Europe, it
also the Eastern Bridgehead of the New Euro-Asia
Continental Bridge. The superior geographical
